Saskatchewan Skies

Here in Saskatchewan we live in "The Land Of The Living Skies." We generally take it for granted, we get used to the vivid colours and the immense wide open beauty of our skies. Many people around the world are not so fortunate, they have smog or skyrises obscuring their view of this perfect natural beauty. Even here in Saskatchewan where this beauty is commonplace, no one knows the Saskatchewan sky like a farmer. Watching those sunrises and sunsets, whether it be from a binyard, the feed alley at the end of the barn, the four wheel drive pulling the seeder after seeing a sunrise and the sunset at the end of a long day and still having many hours to go, or perhaps the combine or grain truck working deep into the night under the beauty of the harvest moon. No one knows or appreciates the Saskatchewan Skies like a Saskatchewan Farmer.
